Mo Ti discovered that light passing through a pinhole into a darkened area forms an exact but inverted image 2. 330 BCE Aristotle recorded the first Western description of this same occurrence. 3. 10th century Arabian mathematician, Alhazan discovered that the smaller hole, the more precise the image. Scientists spent years struggling to create permanent images, fixed onto a surface. 2. Joseph Niepce developed the first successful system in 1824. 1st Permanent Photograph 1. I interpreted play as a way to do try new angles and take photos that wouldnt be thought of being taken. I took photos that look like things you see everyday but never imagine being had a picture taken of them. My favorite one was the one of the silver working counter from in the kitchen at the school. I like this the best because it looks interesting at the angle I took it at. I also like the chandelier and the stairs photos because they are also interesting to look at and you realize that it is something you see a lot throughout the day. It was fun to take pictures from abnormal angles. |
